Robbie Ostrow

Robbie Ostrow is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently at OpenAI as an engineer since March 2024, Robbie previously served as the Head of Platform Engineering at Q Bio from October 2022 to March 2024. Prior to that role, Robbie was a Senior Engineering Manager and Staff Engineer at Vanta, where responsibilities included managing the Platform team and contributing as a founding engineer. Additional professional experience includes founding ThreadCloud, Inc., serving as a Principal at Section 204, LLC, and working as a Data Scientist at Macro Advisory Partners. Early career experiences include internships at Uber, In-Q-Tel, and Bunndle. Robbie Ostrow holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University, where additional contributions were made as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.
