Tong Mu

Tong Mu currently serves as a Member of the Technical Staff at OpenAI, focusing on Model Safety Research since August 2022. Prior experience includes a Research Intern position at Salesforce, where modeling human irrationalities in multi-agent reinforcement learning simulations was investigated, and a Research Intern role at Adobe, centered on efficient reinforcement learning for recommendation systems. Earlier internships at Intel Corporation involved creating web applications for visualizing timing paths in circuits, with a project in 2015 that integrated a MongoDB database and RESTFUL server. Tong Mu holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Stanford University and a bachelor's degree from UCLA.
