Ugesen Pillay

Ugesen Pillay currently serves as the Head of Large Enterprise Solutions Architecture at OpenAI, a position held since September 2024. Prior to this role, Ugesen was the Head of Solutions Architecture at Orb from April 2024 to September 2024. Ugesen's experience also includes serving as the Solutions Architecture Leader for Startups at Amazon Web Services (AWS) between September 2020 and April 2024, and as the Director of Global Solutions Consulting at Heap from October 2017 to September 2020. Ugesen began a career in technical sales as a Senior Technical Sales Engineer at New Relic, Inc. from June 2016 to October 2017. Ugesen Pillay holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Davis.
