Vasanth Rajamani

Vasanth Rajamani is currently a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI, having joined in November 2024. Prior to this, Vasanth served as Senior Director at LinkedIn from December 2015 to November 2024, where responsibilities included building and managing the Data Management organization with a team of approximately 125 engineers. Vasanth's roles at LinkedIn also encompassed positions such as Director of Engineering and Director, focusing on big data platforms, data quality, privacy infrastructure, and data governance. Previous experience includes managing Oracle's logical replication product at Oracle as a Software Development Manager and a Principal Member of the Technical Staff, along with research internships at Microsoft Research and Mi5 Networks. Vasanth holds a PhD and an MS in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as a BSEE in Computer Engineering from Purdue University.
