Vinnie Monaco

Vinnie Monaco is an experienced professional in the field of computer science and data science, currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff focusing on Privacy Engineering at OpenAI since July 2022. Prior to this role, Vinnie worked as a Lead Data Scientist specializing in Security Architecture Engineering at Visa from November 2021 to July 2022. Vinnie has also held a position as an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department at the Naval Postgraduate School from August 2018 to November 2021, and served as a Computer Scientist in the Computational Sciences Division at the U.S. Army DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory from January 2016 to August 2018. Vinnie Monaco completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at Pace University from 2013 to 2015, and holds both a Master of Science (MS) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science and Mathematics from the same institution, earned between 2008 and 2014.
