Bidlur Shivaprakash

Shivaprakash is an entrepreneur, an academician, and currently serves on the board of several companies both in the United States and India. He began as a tenured professor and Chairman of the Computer Science Department at the University of Dubuque, Iowa for over six years. Shiv then left academics to enter the business sector. There, he founded several companies, had a few exits, and has been a serial entrepreneur, involved in a number of M&A transactions since 2001. Shiv is the recipient of many accolades, including “Entrepreneur of the Year” from the United States Chamber of Commerce and Mass Mutual and “Humanitarian of the Year” from the Rotary Club International. While having done extensive research in AI with an emphasis in partial pattern matching, Shiv holds an MBA in finance, an MS degree in Computer Science, and a Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
