Siger Riddersma

Siger Riddersma is an experienced educator and musician with extensive expertise in history and social sciences. Currently serving as a docent geschiedenis at Kamerlingh Onnes College since July 2020, Siger has also held numerous teaching positions in history and social sciences at various educational institutions including Openbaar Onderwijs Groningen and H.N. Werkman College. In addition to a substantial teaching career that began in 2004, Siger has been involved in music as a guitarist with bands such as BreakpointNine and Tarball, showcasing a diverse skill set. Siger holds multiple degrees from the University of Groningen, including a Master’s in History Teaching and a Master’s in History and Social Sciences, complemented by earlier education at Willem Lodewijk Gymnasium.
