Herman Heemskerk

Herman Heemskerk is an experienced professional in the library sector, currently serving as Transitiemanager at Stichting Bibliotheken Midden Fryslân since January 2016, leading the transformation of libraries towards broader community engagement. Herman also holds the role of kwaliteitsadviseur at Openbare Bibliotheek Amsterdam, focusing on quality management implementation. Previous positions include teamleader P&O, project leader for Bibliotheken Zuidoost Friesland, and various advisory roles in quality assurance for multiple libraries. In addition to practical experience, Herman is a certified coach, having completed coaching courses at Boertiengroep and Stichting Post HBO Nederland.
