Marco de Vries has had a successful career in various roles and companies. Marco started as a Management Consultant at Kearney in 1995, where they worked on strategy development, business optimization, corporate restructuring, and organizational re-design projects across Europe. Marco then joined DiamondCluster International as a Management Consultant in 1998. After that, they worked at Kearney again from 2000 to 2002 as a Management Consultant. In 2002, they joined GEC (UOC Group) as the Operations Director. In 2006, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Openbravo, and later became the Chief Executive Officer in 2012.
Marco de Vries began their education at Mollerlyceum, where they completed their Atheneum studies from 1984 to 1989. Marco then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 1989 to 1995. In addition, they participated in a CEMS exchange program at HEC Paris, earning a CEMS Master's degree from 1993 to 1994.
