José Manuel Martínez Vázquez has extensive experience in the technology and real estate industries. José Manuel is currently serving as the CEO and Co-founder of BuildLovers, a Contech company that aims to generate technology for building sustainable, efficient, and healthy homes. Prior to this role, they co-founded and served as the Executive Director of Opencasa, a US-based real estate company that uses technology for investment selection. José also worked as the CMO at SinzerAD, a technology services company specializing in Microsoft technologies. Before venturing into the technology and real estate sectors, they held the position of General Manager at Automóvil Club de Chile. José has also served as a mentor at UDD Ventures and Centro de Innovación UC Anacleto Angelini. Additionally, they have been an active member of AMECH, a group promoting electric mobility, and a volunteer mentor at Red Mentores por Chile. Prior to these roles, José held leadership positions as the Commercial Director of Agrupacio Mutua and Quinta Salud La Alianza - MPS.
José Manuel Martínez Vázquez completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Economics and Business Management at the IESE Business School from 1993 to 1995. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate studies at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Sciences with a specialization in Personnel Management from 1987 to 1992.
