Akor Opaluwah

Akor Opaluwah, Ph.D., currently serves as a User Experience Researcher at Opencast since October 2022. Prior to this role, Akor was a Curriculum Manager at Stanmore College from March 2019 to September 2022 and has extensive experience in user experience design from previous positions at Designed by OS and Cer.Go Clothing and Apparel. Akor's educational background includes a Ph.D. in International Development from Nottingham Trent University, where research focused on localizing development initiatives in Nigeria. Additionally, Akor has lectured on International Development, Gender, Public Policy, and UX Design at Nottingham Trent University and Nottingham Trent International College, respectively. Early career experience includes a role as a User Experience Researcher and Data Manager at NYSC Secretariat and a User Experience Designer at Streamline Group.
