Nancy Connery

Nancy Connery is the Co-Founder of OpenComp. Nancy has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources and Operations Management. Nancy has a proven track record in building and scaling organizations, developing HR programs, and advising on personnel and operational issues.

Nancy started their career at Oracle as the Manager of Operations. Nancy then moved to Salesforce.com where they were the Vice President of Human Resources. Nancy was responsible for hiring and creating a brand new, worldwide employee recruiting and retention program. Her efforts resulted in today’s Human Resources department that is core to the success of the company. Nancy was also instrumental in advising the Chairman/CEO regarding personnel and operational issues during both start-up and post-IPO. At Salesforce.com, they were a member of the Executive Operations Committee where they used their influence across departments to help define and implement the company vision.

After their successful career at Salesforce.com, Nancy decided to start their own company, Connery Consulting. Connery Consulting is a boutique consulting firm that provides Human Resources and Operations management services to startups and small businesses. Nancy has been running Connery Consulting for over 10 years and has helped many companies scale their organizations successfully.

In 2019, Nancy decided to start OpenComp with their co-founder, Matt Scullen. OpenComp is a software platform that helps companies manage their compliance with government regulations around the world. Nancy is excited to use their experience and knowledge to

Nancy Connery attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where they studied communications. Nancy then attended Brentwood School, where they also studied communications.

They are on a team with Julia Dow, CCP - VP, Services (Compensation), Leanne Constance Langer - VP, Customer Success & Community, and Ian Gover - President & COO. Nancy Connery reports to Thanh D. Nguyen, Founder & CEO.
