Scott Russell

Scott R. has a diverse and extensive work experience in various industries and technical fields. Scott started their career in 1992 as a Programmer at Wizard Software and later worked as a Lead Programmer and Interim CTO at Pangaea Software from 1995 to 1999. In 2001, they became a Partner, Senior Developer, and Consulting Sales at ActiveStudios. Scott founded The Marcil Tech Group in 2004, where they served as a Founder and CTO, handling PHP frontend, Ruby backend, and internal development while maintaining high SERP/SEO ranking. From 2008 to 2015, Scott founded and served as the Founder, CTO, and Developer at Cooter Muck Probiotics, where they invented and developed product branding, design, marketing, and distribution. Additionally, they designed and constructed factory automation and production processes. Scott then worked at CafeX Communications, where they held the position of Director of Engineering, North America, leading teams across multiple areas and collaborating with Microsoft Dynamics on the Live Assist product. In 2018, they joined Atlantis Technology as a Senior Software Engineer, tackling complex architectural problems in the financial and medical industries. Scott owned and developed All The Flavors, a DIY social website, from 2016 to 2020. Scott currently works at UserTesting, where they served as a Senior Engineer, Lead - Strategic Integrations from 2019 to 2020, and later transitioned to the role of Senior Engineer, Ops and Infrastructure (devops) from 2020 to 2021. Throughout their career, Scott has worked with clients of all sizes, from startups to Fortune 500 companies.

Scott R. obtained an Associate's Degree in Robotics / Electromechanical Technology from New Hampshire Technical College, where they studied from 1990 to 1992.
