Evangelos Evangelou is the Co-Founder of OpenDNA since March 2020. Prior to this role, they worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Ioannina from 2010 to June 2019, where they also served as a Lecturer in Clinical and Molecular Epidemiology. Evangelou has a diverse educational background, with a BSc in Nursing Science from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, an MSc in Biostatistics from the same institution, an M.A. in Biostatistics/Epidemiology from Brown University, and a PhD in Genetic Epidemiology from the University of Ioannina. They have also worked as a Post-Doc at the University of Lausanne from 2008 to 2009.
