Alexander Dunfey

Alexander Dunfey has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Alexander is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at OpenDrives since April 2023. Before this, they held the same position at Qualifacts from January 2022 to October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Software Development Manager from July 2019 to January 2022. In their earlier years, they worked at Simplivity, where they held multiple roles including Director of Control Plane Engineering from July 2018 to June 2019, Software Engineering Manager from November 2015 to June 2018, and Principal Software Engineer from June 2013 to November 2015. Alexander also gained experience at VMware as a Staff Engineer from April 2008 to June 2013 and at EMC, where they served as a Sr Software Engineer from January 2004 to April 2008 after starting as a Software Engineering Intern from May 2000 to December 2003.

Alexander Dunfey earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2004.
