Joshua Marx has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Joshua began their career as an Office Production Intern at CBS Television Distribution in 2008. Joshua then worked as a Control Room Assistant at Universal Sports in 2010 before transitioning to the role of Production Assistant at the Tribeca Film Festival and later in freelance film and television production. In 2011, Joshua joined the team at Law and Order: SVU, starting as an Office Production Assistant and progressing to become an Assistant to the Executive Producer, Clearance Coordinator, and finally a Writers' Assistant/Researcher. In 2017, they worked as a Writers' Assistant/Researcher at Starz. Joshua's software development career began in 2018 when they became a Software Engineer Projects at an unspecified company, where they worked on projects such as CityReport and Wedous. In the same year, they joined Hack Reactor as a Lead Software Engineering Resident. Currently, Joshua is a Senior Software Developer at OpenDrives and was previously a Full Stack Developer at the same company.
Joshua Marx earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema and Television Arts, with a focus on Television Production, from California State University, Northridge. Joshua attended the university from 2003 to 2008. In 2018, Joshua completed an Advanced Software Engineering Immersive Program at Hack Reactor, where they gained expertise in Computer Software Engineering.
