Stephen Colebourne

Stephen Colebourne has extensive work experience in the software development and engineering field. Stephen is currently working at OpenGamma as a Principal Software Developer, where they lead the engineering team in building the risk management platform. Prior to this, they worked at Joda.org as the project lead, providing open-source code in the Java programming language, with a focus on the popular project Joda-Time. Additionally, Stephen served as the co-specification lead for JSR-310, a standards group under the Java Community Process (JCP) that aimed to enhance the Java date and time libraries. Stephen also worked as a Software Architect at SITA, where they designed the SITA E-Commerce Platform for airline websites. Stephen's career started at Royal & SunAlliance as a Programmer.

Stephen Colebourne attended the University of York from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics.
