Vaibhav Krishnakumar

Vaibhav Krishnakumar has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Vaibhav started their career as an Intern at Asha for Education in 2015, where they focused on promoting education among primary school children. In 2016, they completed a Spring Internship at Deutsche Bank, gaining insights into software engineering and presenting on technological challenges faced by the bank.

In 2016, Vaibhav joined Imperial College London as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, delivering weekly tutorial sessions on Logic and Reasoning for first-year students. Vaibhav continued this role in 2017, while also working as an Application Developer at Morgan Stanley. During their time at Morgan Stanley, they built a full-stack application for liquidity risk regulatory reporting.

In 2018, Vaibhav became a Technology Analyst and later a Technology Associate at Morgan Stanley. Vaibhav then joined OpenGamma in 2021 as a Software Engineer, before transitioning to an Engineering Lead role. At OpenGamma, they managed a team of six engineers and worked on margin analytics, calculation, and workflow solutions.

Additionally, Vaibhav has expertise in onboarding processes, as they served as an Engineering Lead for the Onboarding Engineering team at OpenGamma. Vaibhav set up the team, addressed engineering challenges, and guided engineers in technical and project management decisions.

Throughout their career, Vaibhav has demonstrated strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to education and charitable causes.

Vaibhav Krishnakumar completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Imperial College London from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Ibstock Place School from 2009 to 2014 and the VIBGYOR Group of Schools from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, they obtained the DofE (Silver) certification from The Duke of Edinburgh's Award in 2012.
