Jasmine Alfonso is an experienced professional with a strong background in community support and counseling. Currently serving as the Community Lead Counselor and Direct Support Professional at Opengate, Inc. since June 2016, Jasmine assists developmentally disabled adults in leading independent lives. Previous roles include Freedom Apartments Housing Manager and Student Assistant at the University at Albany, where Jasmine managed over 100 residents and facilitated campus resources and events. Earlier experience includes a Community Service Assistant position, an Office Assistant role at New Millennium Realty, and a Nanny position. Jasmine holds a Master of Science in Developmental and Child Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University at Albany.
