Vice President - APAC at OpenGov Asia

Ellen Quek has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ellen started their career as a Cabin Crew at Singapore Airlines in 1993 and then transitioned into the field of sales and marketing. Ellen worked as a Senior Business Development Manager at Editec International Pte Ltd from 1996 to 1998. Following that, they served as the Sales Director at Fairfax Business Media from 1998 to 2000. Then, they joined Panache Computer Services as a Business Development Manager from 2000 to 2002. Ellen continued their career at Fairfax Business Media as the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing from 2002 to 2006. Ellen then worked as the Regional Director, Print, Online & Events at Questex Asia from 2006 to 2009. Ellen then joined FutureGov Asia Pacific, where they held various positions including Country Sales Director from 2009 to 2011, General Manager of Sales from 2011 to 2013, and General Manager from 2013 to 2014. Currently, Ellen is associated with OpenGov Asia, serving as the General Manager, Asia (Government, Education, Healthcare) from 2014 to 2021. Ellen has recently been promoted to the role of Vice President - APAC starting from July 2021.

Ellen Quek completed their high school education at Nan Hua Secondary School from 1988 to 1991. Ellen then attended Jurong Junior College from 1992 to 1993, where they pursued Accounting and Business/Management. Following this, they enrolled at the Management Development Institute of Singapore from 1993 to 1995 and obtained an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration.
