David Gertmenian-Wong

David Gertmenian-Wong has a diverse work experience in various industries. David currently holds the position of Senior Director of Engineering at OpenGov Inc., where they began in July 2021. Prior to this, they were the President & CEO of ProcureNow, a position they held from May 2020. David also co-founded and served as the CTO of ProcureNow since its inception in 2016.

In 2014, David worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Gametime United, a mobile ticketing app. Here, they played a key role in developing the backend infrastructure to support user selling, which significantly expanded the company's supply vertical. David also contributed to making the platform a leading supplier of tickets in a short span of three months.

Before Gametime United, David worked at GiftRocket as the General Manager. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the company's operations as the first employee. Their responsibilities included managing various aspects of the e-commerce website, with a focus on UX, product development, payment processing, and marketing.

David also worked as a Software Engineer at TULA Investment Group, a registered investment management fund. During their tenure, they built the company's website from scratch and implemented features such as blog posting and an admin dashboard.

Prior to their roles in the tech industry, David worked as a Project Manager at Hall Equities Group, a commercial real estate private equity group. Here, they managed all phases of real estate development projects, from conceptual design to construction and close-out.

David's earliest work experience dates back to their time at UC Davis, where they served as a Teaching Assistant from March 2005 to June 2007.

David Gertmenian-Wong attended the University of California, Davis from 2003 to 2007. During this time, they pursued a degree in Managerial Economics and successfully graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in that field of study.
