Jamie Castellanos has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. They began their career as an intern at Technology Forecasters Inc. in 2014. They then worked as a Research Analyst on a contract basis at 2B Communications, Inc. from December 2013 to June 2014.

In 2014, Jamie joined the City of Berkeley as an Application Programmer Analyst. In this role, they were responsible for managing all business applications, hardware, and software for the Finance department. They also had experience in T-SQL, ETL development and administration, and served as a system administrator for the Accela business licensing, zoning, and permitting system. They left this position in February 2016.

From February 2016 to March 2017, Jamie worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Prosper Marketplace. Their responsibilities included writing SQL queries and Tableau reports for performance data analysis, resolving loan payment disputes, and executing asset transfers. They also worked with the biz ops team to build and maintain a data mart for month-end reconciliation purposes.

Currently, Jamie is an Integration Specialist at OpenGov Inc. since October 2017. They work directly with government customers, extracting data and implementing ETL solutions for real-time data collection and reporting. They write SQL queries, act as a technical resource for the implementation team, and manage projects to ensure customer satisfaction.

Throughout their career, Jamie has demonstrated strong technical and analytical skills, particularly in SQL, ETL, and data analysis. They have also gained experience in project management, client management, and system administration.

Jamie Castellanos earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Later, they pursued a Master's in Business Administration with a focus on Sustainable Management at Presidio School from 2011 to 2014.
