Wucheng (Mike) Wen, PhD, is a co-founder of OpenGrid Technologies since March 2023, bringing extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Previously, Wucheng served as a summer consultant at EY-Parthenon in June 2022, and held the position of research scientist lead at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from January 2019 to July 2021, where contributions included streamlining project workflows for first-in-class medicine development and implementing innovative risk assessment models. Prior experience also includes serving as a research scientist and technical expert at Ashland, leading market analysis for the acquisition of Vornia, valued over $700M, and orchestrating growth strategies during the M&A process. Wucheng's educational background features an MBA from Georgetown University, a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and an M.A. in Chemistry from Temple University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China.
