Rachel Barnes has held various marketing roles since 2012. Rachel began their career as a Marketing Intern at WBRZ Channel 2 News, where they worked alongside the Special Projects Coordinator to plan and promote community projects. Rachel then moved on to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) as a Marketing Intern, where they coordinated day-to-day operations of the nonprofit, assisted in event management, and recruited corporate sponsors. In 2013, they took on the role of Marketing Coordinator at Forte Payments. Finally, in 2015, they joined OpenKey as Marketing Director, later transitioning to Marketing Manager and then Executive Assistant/Marketing Coordinator.
Rachel Barnes attended Louisiana State University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing.
