Stephen Bodnar has held various executive roles in the software industry since 2005. In 2005, they began as Global Vice President of Product Management & Marketing at MSC Software, where they established new business models and a next-generation product portfolio, contributing to a doubling of the company's share price. From 2008 to 2012, they were Vice President/GM of Data Management and PLM at Autodesk, where they optimized a broad product and business portfolio and defined a partnership-assisted model for go-to-market, resulting in 17x revenue growth with 50% cost reduction over four years. Stephen then moved to Kenesto Corp as Senior Vice President of Strategy, Products, and Operations, where they delivered growth through leadership of the vision, development, and go-to-market of the cloud-native SaaS software start-up. From 2015 to 2020, Stephen held the role of SVP/GM Global Application Software at Hilti, where they led the digital transformation for the end-to-end global application software business. Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer at OpenKey.
Stephen Bodnar has an extensive educational background. Stephen completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Wales in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Mergers and Acquisitions Certificate from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business in 2017. Stephen also has a Graduate Certificate from the Chrysler Quality Institute in Industrial Quality & Process Management. Furthermore, they have attended Lawrence Technological University in Engineering and Computer Science and Henry Ford College in Math and Computer Science. Additionally, they obtained a Data Science for Business Certificate from Rice University in February 2020.
