OpenLayer framework will significantly increase the speed of delivering new integration interface (API), without any risk of reengineering the mainframe or iSeries (AS400) logic, to the Web, Integration, and app development team and eliminate developer resources.

With OpenLayer, the business workflow can easily be wrapped into an API without even a single line of code change on the server. OpenLayer enables Citizen Integrators to wrap existing time tested business proven business logic into API. The builtin UI factory exposes every transaction to any browser-enabled device including the mobile.

OpenLayer is a ZERO footprint on the server. Gartner called it a "disruptive yet non-destructive" framework. It provides:
1) Access anywhere anytime.
2) Integration without a single line of code
3) Orchestrate diversified applications.

Furthermore, If the new transaction has a defined mainframe or an existing transaction if changed, OpenLayer reflects this change in the browser as well as in API without any recoding.

The OpenLayer software provided will emulate it exactly and return the data in a REST API to your application. The same holds true for updating information on the mainframe and iSeries; if data can be simply entered by a user and then a mainframe process is executed (utilizing proprietary IPA - Innovative Process Automation); then the data can be passed to OpenLayer via a REST API to execute the job on the mainframe.

All of this would occur with no risk to the integrity of the transaction as OpenLayer simply acts as a virtual user and only receives or passes data as a user would be using the existing business logic. The integrity and security of the server transaction would remain completely intact.
