Jason Jones has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2003 as a Business Owner and General Manager at Gamer's Edge. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining operational standards, customer service levels, driving sales, budgeting and controlling labor, inventory control, training, interviewing and selecting top talent. Jason then moved to Kent State University in 2010, where they were a Master Welder, overseeing multiple student employees and managing their work in both the welding dept and the scene shop. In 2012, they began work at Virtual Hold Technology as a Senior Client Support Engineer, dealing with Partner channels and Direct customers. Jason then moved to Nostalgia Conventions in 2015, where they were the Director of Security, responsible for organizing and managing teams of up to 50+ security staff, creating and updating convention security, prop, and conduct policies, and handling escalations that require director level involvement. In 2014, they began work at Genesys as a Technical Account Manager and Technical Support Engineer, responsible for performing 1st level diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution of complex customer issues on a range of software products and subsystems, in order to ensure customer satisfaction. Finally, in 2019 they began work at OpenMethods as an Implementation Engineer.

Jason Jones attended Kent State University from 2008 to 2012, where they studied Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management. Jason also attended Crestwood.
