Jan Grootjes has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Jan started their career at ABN AMRO Dealingroom in 1998, where they initially worked as a support member for critical systems before being promoted to the role of problem manager. In 1999, they joined LogicaCMG as an International Implementation Engineer, responsible for implementing advanced telecom systems for mobile operators. Jan later transitioned to a sales consultant role, providing technical and commercial advice on LogicaCMG's product portfolio in the EMEA market. In 2006, Jan became a Commercial Product Manager at LogicaCMG before joining Acision in 2007 as an International Business Development Manager, focusing on creating new business opportunities for IP-based messaging solutions. In 2012, they joined Actis Business Partners as a Business Development Manager, distributing the AudioCodes portfolio. Currently, Jan holds the position of VP Sales at Openmind Networks since March 2016.

Jan Grootjes attended HTS Alkmaar from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Engineering and Economics.
