Silvio Samuel

Silvio Samuel, CFP® has a long history of work experience in the financial industry. Silvio began their career in 1988 as a Financial Officer and Business Development at Lloyds Bank. In 2001, they moved to Itaú Unibanco as a Product Manager. In 2004, they were appointed President of Benchmark Committee and President of Database Committee at ANBIMA. From 2009 to 2014, they worked at Itaú Asset Management as a Portfolio Specialist and Performance Manager. From 2014 to 2020, they were Senior Manager Product Strategy at Banco Santander, where they were responsible for defining the investment product offering for retail clients. In 2021, they became a Business Development Partner at RoboBanker and an Investor Relations Co-founder of edtech startup openpbl.ai | ProblemsPeoplePlay. Finally, in 2022, they were appointed Managing Director Business Development at Sarpen Quant Investments.

Silvio Samuel has an extensive education history. Silvio obtained a High School degree from Colégio Bandeirantes between 1980 and 1982. Silvio then went on to obtain a BSc in Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA between 1983 and 1987. Silvio followed this up with a BSc in Business Administration from USP - Universidade de São Paulo between 1988 and 1996. Silvio then earned an MBA in Finance from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa between 2002 and 2003. Lastly, they obtained a Post Graduate degree in Portfolio Management from the University of Chicago in 2004. Additionally, Silvio Samuel holds the CFP - Certified Financial Planner certification from Planejar - Associação Brasileira de Planejadores Financeiros, the CGA certification from ANBIMA, and the CPA 20 certification from ANBIMA.
