Lisa Orman is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in urban policy and community engagement, currently serving as Co-Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer at Open Plans, Inc. since November 2018. With a strong background in strategy and operations, Lisa has successfully built collaborative teams, advocated for improved public spaces, and developed impactful transportation initiatives in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Previous roles include community organizer at Transportation Alternatives, where significant streetscape design changes were achieved, and campaign coordinator at The Overbrook Foundation, where efforts were made to reduce paper catalog consumption. Lisa holds a Master of Public Administration in Urban Policy from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Chicago.
