Sara Lind

Co-executive Director at Open Plans, Inc.

Sara Lind currently serves as the Co Executive Director and Director of Policy at Open Plans, Inc. since September 2021. Previously, Sara was a candidate for City Council in District 6 and served as Secretary for Community Board Seven. As Executive Director of 21 in '21, Sara focused on electing women to the New York City Council, while also holding the position of Manhattan Borough Director at Amplify Her, aimed at increasing women's representation in elected offices. Sara has experience as a Deputy Campaign Manager for the NYC Public Advocate Campaign and was a Campaign Manager & Strategist for Gaulke For Assembly. Additionally, Sara co-founded The 'MPOWER Project, which addresses the challenge of extremism through marketing and community engagement, and managed a City Council Campaign. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School, a Master's in International Affairs from Columbia's SIPA, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
