Jess Haydon

Jess Haydon has a diverse work experience. Currently, they are working as a Lead Product Designer at OpenPlay since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a UI/UX Designer at OpenPlay from February 2020 to August 2022. Before joining OpenPlay, Jess worked at Active Matter as a Digital Designer from July 2018 to February 2020. Jess also gained experience as a Digital Designer at Lightbox Digital from November 2017 to July 2018. Earlier in their career, Jess worked at Spark44 in various roles such as Digital Designer from January 2017 to November 2017, Junior Designer from January 2016 to January 2017, and Production Assistant from February 2014 to January 2016. Jess started their career at Best Learning English, where they worked as a Curriculum Development Team member from October 2011 to September 2013 and as an EFL Teacher from July 2011 to October 2011.

Jess Haydon received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Fine/Studio Arts, General from the University of the Arts London, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, Jess attended Yorkshire Coast College from 2006 to 2007 and completed a BTEC Art & Design Foundation program. In addition to their formal education, Jess has obtained several certifications, including "New UX Managers" from the Nielsen Norman Group in September 2022, "Gamification – Creating Addictive User Experiences" and "Accessibility: How to Design for All" from the Interaction Design Foundation (IDF) in August 2019 and July 2019 respectively, "Design Sprint Masterclass" from AJ&Smart in September 2018, and "Responsive Web Design" and "Responsive Website Basics: Code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript" from Coursera Course Certificates in October 2016 and September 2016 respectively.
