Dimitri Kotsalis

Dimitri Kotsalis has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dimitri started their career at Mercedes-Benz Canada in 2000 as a General Sales Manager. In 2005, they joined Mercedes-Benz Australia as a Dealer Principal, responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the company's owned stores in Sydney. In 2009, Dimitri moved to BMW Group Canada, where they served as the Western Regional Manager. Dimitri then joined Fields Auto Group in 2011 as a General Manager, before transitioning to a leadership role at OpenRoad Auto Group in 2014. At OpenRoad Auto Group, Dimitri has held several positions, including General Manager, Area General Manager, and Vice President of Regional Operations. Currently, they are the Vice President of Regional Operations and Business Development, overseeing key areas such as marketing, digital retail, IT, and financial services. Dimitri's work experience demonstrates their ability to lead and succeed in various roles within the automotive industry.

Dimitri Kotsalis completed a Graduate Certificate (with Honours) in Automotive Dealership Management from Georgian College in 2021-2022. Prior to that, they attended Simon Fraser University from 1987-1990 and Langara College from 1986-1987, studying Business Administration and Economics and Pacific Area/Pacific Rim Studies, respectively. Dimitri also holds a certification in Digital Transformation Leadership from the Digital Innovation and Leadership (DIAL) institution, obtained in the year 2023.
