Chris Clark

Chris Clark currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at OpenRouter, where efforts are focused on building OpenRouter.ai, the world's largest LLM marketplace, since February 2025. Previously, Chris co-founded Grove Collaborative and held the position of CTO, overseeing engineering, product management, design, and analytics from July 2013 until February 2025. In 2022, Chris was appointed Grove's first Chief Digital Officer, expanding responsibilities to include merchandising, buying, and retention marketing, along with P&L ownership of the direct-to-consumer business. Chris also served as a board member for Grove Collaborative, listed on NYSE under $GROV. Earlier career experiences include directing product and engineering teams at Kaggle, prior to its acquisition by Google, and managing product lines at Blackbaud. Academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University earned in 2007.
