Ian Staunton

Ian Staunton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in customer solutions and client services across the telecommunications and technology sectors. Currently serving as the VP of Customer Solutions at Opensignal since February 2025, Ian previously held important roles at Ookla, including VP of Client Services and Director of Client Services, from September 2016 to February 2025. Ian's career commenced at Meteor Mobile Communications, where significant contributions were made in IT operations and support engineering from 2004 to 2011. Further, Ian transitioned to The Now Factory as a Customer Solutions Architect, facilitating consultancy services and developing revenue generation strategies until its acquisition by IBM in 2014. At IBM, Ian worked as a Commercial Product Manager and Technical Sales Specialist until 2016. Ian holds a degree in IT, Computer Science, and Software Engineering from Technological University Dublin, earned between 2000 and 2005.
