Michael Gooch-Breault has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Michael started their career as a Management Consultant at Cartesian, where they led consulting projects for global communications providers. Michael worked on improving enterprise account sales, product profitability, and supply chain performance.

Michael then joined Verizon in 2004 and held various roles throughout their tenure. As the Group Manager of National Distribution Operations, they used data to develop strategies for product bundle pricing and consumer sales channels. Michael also implemented a large Alternate Channel roll-out to grow sales of home broadband and TV service. In their role as Director of Broadband Marketing Operations, they focused on strategic implementation. Lastly, as the Director of Corporate Marketing - Customer Insights, they managed a large portfolio of third-party consumer and marketplace research to inform brand advertising and pricing. Michael also led teams in developing customer segmentation and implementing a CX measurement system.

In 2019, they founded their consulting firm, Michael Gooch-Breault LLC. Michael worked as a Principal and advised J.D. Power on the redesign of their mobile services satisfaction survey, incorporating factors related to product quality and buyer behavior during the transition from 4G to 5G networks.

Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Market Performance at Opensignal. In this role, they lead cross-functional teams that utilize syndicated data and client first-party data to develop insights used for marketing and strategy decisions, ultimately helping major US and Canadian communication brands acquire and retain more customers.

Michael Gooch-Breault has a Bachelor's degree in Geology & Geophysics from Yale University. Michael also holds a Master's degree in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
