Angela Lucente-Prokop

Angela Lucente-Prokop has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Angela started their career in 2003 at Metamorphosis Foster Homes, where they worked as a Casework Supervisor, Assistant Director, and Acting Director. In these positions, they focused on staff development, program evaluation, and resource allocation.

Angela then moved on to work at the Allegheny County Department of Human Services Area Agency on Aging as a Special Projects Manager, where they managed various projects and conducted policy analysis.

In 2011, Angela joined The Hill Group, Inc. as a Management Consultant. Angela played a key role in program development, funding acquisition, strategic planning, and facilitating collaborations with local government and nonprofit organizations.

Angela then worked at Family Services of Western Pennsylvania as the Director of Older Adult Services, overseeing the launch of a new program and leading the transition of services.

Angela's next role was as a Regional Project Director at the Community-based Care Transitions Programs. In this role, they provided regional leadership for programs focused on improving health, healthcare, and reducing costs.

Lastly, Angela worked at PA Health & Wellness, where they held multiple positions including Director Operations, Senior Director Operations & Government Liaison, and Vice President of Operations. Their responsibilities encompassed statewide customer service, program coordination, provider support, authorization processes, and participant services.

Overall, Angela has demonstrated a strong background in operations, project management, strategic planning, and program development across various industries including healthcare and social services.

Angela Lucente-Prokop has a Master of Public Management degree with a concentration in Management & Policy Analysis from Carnegie Mellon University. Angela also holds a BA in Psychology from Penn State University. Angela has completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health with a specialization in Behavioral & Community Health Science from the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Health Program Evaluation and Health Systems Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health. Angela has also completed certifications in Lean Six Sigma from the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering and in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
