Mark Enrique Matos

Mark Enrique Matos has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles.

Starting in 2005, they worked as an Account Manager and Inside Sales Representative Team Lead at First Data Corporation. In this role, they managed accounts and led a team.

In 2007, they joined IT Xchange as an Inside Sales and Account Manager in the Americas. Mark Enrique implemented strategies for B2B hardware sales and managed a book of national and international accounts. Mark Enrique also played a key role in a CRM manipulation project that generated additional gross profit.

From 2012 to 2013, they worked at Sungevity in multiple roles. As a Solar Consultant Team Lead, they managed the Citizens Energy solar homes program and achieved quota consistently. Mark Enrique also led the Sunrun platform integration for the sales department. Later, they became an Inside Sales Manager, where they managed the daily operations of an inside solar sales team and led initiatives to improve lead conversion rates. Mark Enrique also worked as a Partnerships Director, managing channel partnerships and coordinating with various departments.

From 2013 to 2016, Mark served as the Founder and Executive Director of Lift As You Fly, a non-profit organization that provided life coaching to individuals in recovery from drugs or alcohol.

In 2016, they joined Food Shift as a Strategic Advisor. Mark Enrique worked collaboratively with communities, businesses, and schools to develop sustainable solutions to reduce food waste.

From 2016 to 2017, they returned to Sungevity as a Senior Manager of Channel Partnerships. In this role, they managed partner accounts and achieved significant revenue. Mark Enrique also trained partners on selling solar products and assisted with sales and platform demos.

From 2019 to 2021, they worked at RE-volv as the Director of Solar Project Development. Mark Enrique was responsible for lead aggregation, financial modeling, proposal creation, legal negotiations, and account and fund management. Mark Enrique successfully developed several power purchase agreements and managed a substantial fund.

Currently, Mark is employed at OpenSolar as the Head of New Business for the USA. Mark Enrique holds this position since February 2023, where they are responsible for developing new business opportunities.

Mark Enrique Matos has a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Fitchburg State University. In 2018, Mark completed training to facilitate councils from the One Circle Foundation - The Council For Boys & Young Men. Mark Enrique also attended the Rockwood Leadership Institute and a program titled "Beyond the Culture of Separation" in 2017. Mark has participated in the Mankind Project and obtained training from HAI Global. Additionally, they studied Solar Design at the Yestermorrow Design & Build School. Mark completed their high school education at Andover High School.

Mark has obtained a certification as a Co-Active Coach from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) in June 2018. Mark Enrique is also working towards a NABCEP Certification from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners.
