We are seeking a Partnership Sales Manager to grow our presence in the sports & marketing industries around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with our Director of Partnerships to be the OpenSponsorship to our sports, marketing, and sales partners
  • Create new partnerships and negotiate terms to drive revenue growth
  • Manage new and existing partner relationships, including media rights companies, as well as sports leagues, teams, and talent agencies
  • Grow, maintain, and leverage your network. Attend conferences, trade shows, and industry events to build relationships, close deals and maintain expertise in our industry
  • Monitor partnerships to assess the sales impact of offered solution(s) in our marketplace and the overall success of the relationship
  • Monitor competitor activity in accounts and implement strategies to maintain account ownership

Experience & Skills

  • Partnership background with detailed knowledge of sponsorships, preferably in sports or similar industry.
  • 2+ years of partnership management experience
  • A hardworking deal-maker who has brought a number of impactful strategic deals to life from conception to execution.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Motivated, self-directed, and confident individual contributor who can thrive in a dynamic environment. You maintain composure in high pressure and ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to develop, review and negotiate complex contracts
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and project management skills.
  • Structured and analytical thinker with the ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete plans
  • Comfortable working hands-on in a start-up type environment where infrastructure, processes, systems and work practices are still at various stages of implementation and refinement.
  • Genuine excitement and energy to be part of the global expansion of a well-resourced, dynamic sponsorship marketplace
  • Lover of all things Sports and Marketing

Salary is base depending on years of experience + commission for an OTE range of $110-130k
