Martin Chacon Piza

Martin Chacon Piza has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Their most recent position was with OpenStack as the Monasca PTL (Project Team Lead), where they worked on an open-source monitoring-as-a-service solution that integrates with OpenStack. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Developer at Fujitsu Enabling Software Technology GmbH, where they participated in the Open Infrastructure Summit 2019. Martin also worked as a Development Engineer at Fujitsu Poland, contributing to the Open Infrastructure Summit 2018. Before joining Fujitsu, Martin worked as a Software Developer at Altavista Group and Banco Azteca.

Martin Chacon Piza attended UAM Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Licentiate degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they have earned certifications including the Certified Professional for Software Architecture Foundation Level from iSAQB® - International Software Architecture Qualification Board in December 2021 and the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in October 2022.
