Laura Mugeha

Laura Mugeha currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors at OpenStreetMap Foundation and as an Implementation Officer at Ushahidi. Previously, Laura was a Fellow at Caribou Space, focusing on AI-enabled tools to enhance geospatial data utilization in the humanitarian sector. Prior roles include Community Coordinator for africanDRONE and sensors.AFRICA at Code For Africa, where initiatives targeted climate change and environmental monitoring, and Consultant for the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team, developing open mapping curricula for the Caribbean School of Data. Laura holds a B.Sc. in Geomatics Engineering and Geospatial Information Systems from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
