Martin Mohring

Martin Mohring is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in open source projects and software architecture. As Co Owner and CTO at 5e EcoSystems since 2010, Martin focuses on product development and partnerships that enhance Linux standard tools. In the role of Software Architect at InContinuum Software since 2014, Martin has contributed to broad Linux integration for cloud solutions. Additionally, Martin has supported open source adoption through various roles at The Linux Foundation, where responsibilities have included licensing partnerships and engineering leadership for projects like MeeGo and Tizen. Martin's involvement in the openSUSE Project since 2005 has centered on architecture and infrastructure improvements. Previous leadership roles at GENIVI Alliance, Datasoft GmbH, Sky Deutschland GmbH & Co KG, and BetaResearch demonstrate a solid foundation in PayTV technology and product development, built on an academic background in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich.
