Richard I. Hadden

Dr. Richard I. Hadden has fifteen years experience as an investor, cofounder, principal investigator, and manager of startup companies in the USA and Europe. Businesses founded in telecommunications, software development, speech recognition, medical devices, and phylogenetics have acquired investor, investment banking, competitive grant, congressional discretionary and commercial bank financing. He has acted as a Principal Investigator for the National Center for Excellence in Economic Development and Entrepreneurship, and was a Principal Investigator, Senior Research Scientist and founder of the Biomedical Acoustics program at the National Center for Physical Acoustics.

Richard has a BS in Math/Physics Vanderbilt University, attended medical school at the University of Mississippi, and the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine. Earlier in his career he served as a full time urgent care physician, USAF flight surgeon, scientific programmer analyst, and a particle physics researcher. Richard holds medical licenses in Mississippi, Vermont, and Minnesota. He has been published many times and has been honored with several fellowships and awards during his career, including an Air Force Achievement Medal for service during classified overseas deployment.
