Michael Connell

Michael Connell is a creative executive with extensive global experience in leading creative development, strategy, and transformation across various sectors, including brand, consumer experience, and digital media. They served as the Chief Creative Director at COMMONWEALTH since 2009 and hold the position of Executive Creative Director at OpenText since 2022. Their past roles include Film Director at Engine Room Hollywood, Global Creative Director for the Barbie Brand at Mattel, and VP, Head of Design at Cranium, among others. Michael is recognized for their innovative creativity and ability to build high-performing cross-functional teams. Currently, they are pursuing further education at San Jose State University.
