Thomas Demmler

Thomas Demmler is a seasoned professional in product management with extensive experience in the enterprise content management (ECM) sector. As Senior Director of Product Management at OpenText since August 2003, Thomas defines and executes strategies for the OpenText Extended ECM portfolio. Previous roles include Director of Product Management for Extended ECM Applications, overseeing integration with major platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft, while managing an international team of product managers. Notably, Thomas holds a patent for role-based permission integration and has contributed significantly to the development of successful ECM solutions. Prior to OpenText, Thomas held key positions at IXOS Software AG and CGK, and holds a Master in Computer Science from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Henley Business School.
