Developed by experienced partners from research and industry, the OpenTrafficCam is the tool for transparent and automated traffic data collection for research and commercial use.

OpenTrafficCam combines numerous unique features and thus offers maximum flexibility with the best possible quality. From data protection by design to the detection of 18 different classes (including TLS 8+1, cargo bikes, eScooters) and integrated quality metrics (e.g. for SVZ 2025), OpenTrafficCam offers everything you need for your research and practical projects from a single source.

OpenTrafficCam is open source. You also have the option of having video processing and measurements carried out by platomo's experienced team. This allows you to benefit from the advantages of a collaborative, open solution and professional services.
