Sanniti Pimpley started their work experience in 2013 as a Research Intern at ITP (Interactive Telecommunications Program), where they conducted research on DIY Biomechanics. Sanniti then worked as an IT Assistant at NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development from 2013 to 2014. In 2013, they also undertook a Research Internship at NYU + Microsoft Research Lab.
From 2014 to 2015, Sanniti worked at New York University as an Entrepreneur's Lab Guardian (Technician). Sanniti then served as a Research Resident at ITP from 2014 to 2015, where they documented research results on topics such as Motion capture, Health & Fitness Monitoring, and Electromyography.
In 2015, Sanniti became an Associate Electrical Engineer at Human Condition Safety, a position they held until 2017. Since 2018, they have been working as a Software Engineer at Opentrons Labworks Inc. Sanniti is involved in software development for open source liquid handling robots and hardware modules. In their role, they develop backend API in python and firmware in C/C++ and leads projects to improve efficiency, safety, and add new features to robot control system software & firmware.
Sanniti Pimpley obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics & Telecommunications from Pune University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Sanniti then pursued further education at New York University from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a MPS degree in Interactive Telecommunications.
