Yuriy Chapran

Yuriy Chapran has over 15 years of work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Yuriy is currently employed at OpenVPN Inc. as a Product Manager since September 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Sigma Software Group as a Project Manager from April 2018 to September 2020. Yuriy also held positions at GlobalLogic, where they served as a Technical Project Manager from December 2016 to April 2018, a Scrum Master/Release Manager from February 2016 to November 2016, and a Sr Team Lead/Release Manager from April 2014 to February 2016. Earlier in their career, Yuriy worked at Lohika as a Team Lead at GRIN project from July 2013 to April 2014, a Team Lead at Skype from August 2011 to July 2013, and a C++ developer at Skype from June 2005 to August 2011.

From 2003 to 2008, Yuriy attended Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, where they earned a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics with a focus on Mathematics and Computer Science.

In 2016, Yuriy enrolled in the MIM-Kyiv Business School and completed the Program in Management Development (PMD Pre-MBA).

Starting in 2019, Yuriy joined the Professional Negotiators Club to enhance their negotiation skills.

In 2021, Yuriy attended the University of Maryland to pursue the Program of Product Management.

In terms of additional certifications, Yuriy obtained the PSPO I certification from Scrum.org in January 2018 and the PSM I certification in October 2015. Yuriy also completed the Program in Product Management at the University of Maryland in October 2021.
