Dan W. has extensive work experience in internal audit and risk management. Dan currently holds the position of Head of Internal Audit at The Openwork Partnership since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at The AA as Head of Audit for seven years, where they were responsible for planning and delivering internal audit services. Before that, they were the Head of Internal Audit at Ageas UK, overseeing audits across insurance companies. Dan W. also worked as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young, NZ, focusing on risk and improvement services. Dan started their career at Bank of Ireland UK Financial Services, where they held the role of Audit & Risk Manager. Dan W. brings a wealth of experience and expertise in managing audit plans, delivering assurance services, and driving internal change.

Dan W. earned a BSc Hons in Accountancy from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd. Dan also obtained a CISA certification from ISACA and an ACA certification from ICAEW.
