Eddie Tsiao

Eddie Tsiao has extensive work experience in the field of engineering. Eddie most recently served as the CTO/EVP of Engineering at Opera Event since February 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of VP Engineering at Corelight, Inc from January 2018 to 2019. From August 2016 to January 2018, Eddie was the VP Engineering at Sift Security. Eddie also served as the Vice President of Engineering at Zetta.net Enterprise-grade Cloud Backup and Disaster Recovery from April 2014 to July 2016. Eddie held the role of Director of Engineering at Barracuda Networks from May 2011 to April 2014 and at St. Bernard Software from January 2011 to May 2011. Before that, they were the Director of Engineering at DeepNines Technologies from August 2005 to January 2011. Eddie started their career as an Engineering Manager at PayPal and then went on to be the VP Engineering at Mindfabric, Inc. Eddie also briefly worked as an Engineering Manager at Cisco Systems.

Eddie Tsiao attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1989 to 1994. Eddie completed a degree in engineering, specifically in the field of study of electrical engineering (EE).
